Romanian forests are one of the Europe’s most divers and they are all managed close to their primary structure.The climate is humid and summer the soil is dominated by mushrooms mycelium.
Some of the mushroom myceliums are hundreds of years old forming simbiotic relations with specific trees.
Some mushrooms are deadly some with a small degree of toxicity and some are edible.
As well some mushrooms have a high nutritive value , some are at the edge of edibility and some have little content in Nurients.
Some mushshrooms are sweet,some bitter, some are earthy , some have a flowery touch and some are just fade tasted.
Personally I am collecting quite a large variety of mushrooms, each year adding a new specie on my gastronomy collection!
On our experience we will try to find the most popular mshrooms picked in Romania and try to cook them as well. Theoretically there is no poissoning hazard. I am very carefull with my guests and what will be eating!
